VRA Name Change We Need Your Help
The VRA is currently in the process of changing it's trading name but it looks
like we may have some administrative trouble, so we are taking a pro-active approach
and requesting that all members send us the name of their local member. Mainly
because we may have to get you to write a letter to your member asking them to
support the VRA's proposal and we can preprint the letter for you.
Sharing of Member Contacts
As with some caving clubs and other organisations we are thinking of distributing
member's contact details to others in the Squad. However, under the respective
privacy and information security acts we need permission to distribute this data,
so if you are happy to have your contacts shared with other members could you
please let me know.
Statistics Reminder
And finally here is the usual reminder for members to submit data on their activities
for the last month. These can be things like:
- Caving, hours underground, vertical time, etc
- Canyoning
- Hiking
- Other training:
- first aid courses
- chainsaw course
- Administration or development if you are developing training material or supporting
the Squad
Please include an estimate of travel time in these activities as well.
This data is submitted to the VRA and is a requirement to access our grant monies.
