Barrington SAREX

BWRS are holding their usual Barrington Tops SAREX over the weekend of 18/19 October 2008 and we have been invited. If you are interested in attending please contact me ASAP. I've attached some extracts of a letter from BWRS for your information.

The Barrington SAREX operational exercise is fast approaching on the 18/19th October 2008. I know in the past you and your groups have shown interest in attending these weekends. We intend to carry on the searches of past years and require the following if you are interested in attending:

1. If all participant squads and groups could respond whether they can or can not attend this exercise. If your group is attending please state approximate numbers. The preference would be for overnight teams.
2. Please read the basic information provided in the following link (this is last years event, 2008 will be similar), and familiarise yourself with the maps required, timing and general location of the exercise. 3. PRS have indicated that Polair has been tasked for this weekend and unless any last minute event occurs, will be used to land some remote overnight teams close to their search area.
